Terms of Service

Updated September 2026

These terms govern your use of the Postlytics iOS app and postlytics.app. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you use Postlytics on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.

The service

Postlytics is an independent iOS client for PostHog. It reads and displays data from the PostHog instance you connect using your own personal API key. Postlytics is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by PostHog, Inc. PostHog is a trademark of PostHog, Inc.

You are responsible for the API keys you enter, for keeping them confidential, and for complying with the terms of your PostHog plan and any policies of the workspace you connect.

Your account

You need an account (Sign in with Apple, Google or email) to use Postlytics. Keep your sign-in method secure and tell us at support@postlytics.app if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 16 years old.

Subscriptions and billing

Features marked Pro require an active Postlytics Pro subscription, billed by Apple through your App Store account, monthly or yearly. Prices are shown in the app before you purchase and may vary by region.

The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies; we cannot issue refunds directly.

Payment is processed by Apple; the purchase is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula).

Acceptable use

When using Postlytics you agree to the following:

  • Don't access PostHog projects you are not authorized to view.
  • Don't probe, scan, overload or disrupt our infrastructure or that of our providers.
  • Don't reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or redistribute the app.
  • Don't use the app in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

Intellectual property

The Postlytics app, brand, and website are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. Your PostHog data remains yours; we claim no rights to it.

Availability and changes

We may change, add or remove features, and may discontinue the service with reasonable notice. Postlytics depends on the PostHog API; changes on PostHog's side may affect functionality and are outside our control.

Disclaimers

Postlytics is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Analytics shown in the app come from your PostHog instance. We are not responsible for the accuracy of that data or for decisions made on it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or business, arising out of your use of Postlytics. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent, gross negligence or injury to life, body or health.

Termination

You can stop using Postlytics and delete your account at any time (Settings → Account → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription — cancel that separately.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the country in which the operator of Postlytics is established, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. The EU online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr; we are not obliged and do not agree to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll announce material changes in the app or on this page at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
